Being the broadcast engineer here, I deal with a lot of our technology making sure everything works.
We ultimately chose Riedel because it fit our price point and had the inputs we needed for what we do.

The features were exponentially better. The Live Video Production features that stood out were the ease of use with touch screens.
Having the ability to export clips while we’re live has been huge for our social media team and everything they do.

The hardest part of doing instant replay is having to operate on a very quick timeline.

The two-hour limit on banana ball creates an environment where we have to always be on our toes and get things out quickly.

What I do is I take game clips, edit them into playlists, create rollouts, create melts for the beginning and end of the game, show instant replays in real-time on plays that are challenged or plays that are really cool that people want to see again.

This unit allows us to quickly get through our replays, quickly get through team challenges in a way that does not interrupt the flow of the broadcast. The best feature is the ability to rewind clips and be able to see every single angle that you would need all at the same time.

I would highly recommend Riedel’s products as well as working with their team.

We produce a lot of sporting events for many different linear platforms. I see the need for live streaming just going up and up in the college.

We can have a student in before the game with no knowledge, watch the first half, learn the system, and then by the second half, be ready to go and operate the system properly for the rest of the game.

I never would have imagined that we would have a live streaming control room that could connect to any location on campus. We’ve been so satisfied with Riedel since we implemented it. We are able to broadcast more sports, and we’re able to also broadcast concurrent events.

I can’t believe we have this type of product out there on a national level that looks so darn good.
